MDL Panel Strips Aredia Complaint Of Some Charges

Law360 (November 6, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The panel on multidistrict litigation has decided to pare down a complaint recently accepted into the fold of the Aredia and Zometa product liability litigation, ruling that a number of the allegations do not relate to the bone cancer drugs at hand.

On Monday, the MDL panel issued a separation of claims and a conditional remand order in the case brought by plaintiff Margaret Nygren upon discovering that some charges involved the osteoporosis medication Actonel.
