Antitrust Suit Alleges Collusion Handed La. To Blue Cross

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 7:19 PM EST) -- The latest in a series of antitrust lawsuits filed against Blue Cross Blue Shield Association came Tuesday in the form of a federal class action alleging the health insurance provider violated antitrust laws by monopolizing Louisiana's health insurance industry, resulting in higher costs to the state's consumers.
