House OKs Bill Shifting Contractor Wage Claims To DOL

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 5:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday approved a bill that would move responsibility for wage claims adjustments for employees of federal contractors from the U.S. Government Accountability Office to the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Streamlining Claims Processing for Federal Contractor Employees Act (HR 6371), sponsored by Rep. Tim Walberg, R-Mich., sailed through the chamber with a vote of 361-3.
