Enviros Ask FERC To Rethink $400M NJ-Pa. Pipeline

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 6:20 PM EST) -- Environmental organizations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Monday renewed their challenge to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's approval of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co.'s $400 million pipeline project between the two states, seeking an expedited rehearing of the proposal.

The Delaware Riverkeeper Network, the New Jersey Highlands Coalition and the New Jersey Chapter of the Sierra Club asked FERC for the second time this year to block TGP from beginning work on its Northeast Upgrade Project, citing violation of state and federal laws.
