Calif. Health Board OKs Blueprint For Insurance Exchange

Law360, New York (November 15, 2012, 6:23 PM EST) -- The body in charge of implementing California’s Affordable Care Act-mandated health insurance exchange announced Wednesday that its board had approved a proposed operational outline, pushing the exchange closer to implementation by a 2014 federal deadline.

The board overseeing Covered California — known until October as the California Health Benefit Exchange — announced at a public meeting that they had approved the exchange’s proposed operational blueprint.
