Calif. Campaign Watchdog Opens Probe Into $11M Contribution

Law360, San Diego (November 15, 2012, 11:16 PM EST) -- California’s campaign finance watchdog said Thursday it had launched an investigation to determine the individual donors behind an Arizona nonprofit’s $11 million contribution to a political action committee that attempted to defeat Gov. Jerry Brown’s tax-hike measure in the general election.
