Boehner Says He's Not Giving Up On ACA Repeal Plans
Law360, New York (November 16, 2012, 6:59 PM EST) -- House Speaker John Boehner made clear he is not backing down on repealing the Affordable Care Act, saying Thursday that rigorous House oversight will be “critical” in repealing the ACA in the future.
“I’ve long maintained that there are three possible routes to repeal of Obamacare: the courts, the presidential election and our constitutional responsibility for oversight. With two of them having come up short, the third and final of these becomes more important than ever,” Boehner said in a letter to House Republicans that his staff publicized Thursday.
