Chevron Tells 6th Circ. To Uphold Opposing Counsel Sanctions

Law360, New York (November 16, 2012, 6:05 PM EST) -- Chevron USA Inc. urged the Sixth Circuit on Thursday to uphold $250,000 in sanctions issued to opposing attorneys for allegedly frivolous medical monitoring claims in a toxic tort suit, arguing that the lawyers clearly pursued claims that were objectively baseless and were properly penalized.
