FERC Fines Entegra Unit $2.5M For Calif. Market Manipulation

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 5:52 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Monday fined an Entegra Power Group LLC unit $2.5 million and ordered the power plant operator to disgorge nearly $1 million in profits after it admitted to manipulating power markets in California, a first under FERC's anti-manipulation rule, the regulator said.
