Terra Firma To Pay Nomura $5.3B For Annington Homes

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 2:37 PM EST) -- London-based private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd. has agreed to acquire U.K. residential property giant Annington Homes from Nomura International PLC for £3.32 billion ($5.28 billion), Terra Firma announced Monday.

The private equity firm said it plans to capitalize on Annington's success over the years by helping it to grow its residential rental business.

Terra Firma financed the deal with £1 billion in new equity from a specialist fund and about £2.2 billion in new debt and assumed existing debt, according to Monday's statement....
