ITC Gives Final OK For Duties On Taiwanese Hangers

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 3:10 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission issued a final ruling Thursday that excessively cheap imports of Taiwanese wire hangers had injured American businesses, clearing the final hurdle for anti-dumping duties on the products.

The agency's six commissioners voted unanimously in favor of the tariffs one month after the U.S. Department of Commerce issued its own final determination that Taiwan had dumped the cheap hangers onto the U.S. market.
