Yellowstone Club Founder Can't DQ Bankruptcy Judge

Law360, New York (November 19, 2012, 8:52 PM EST) -- A Montana federal judge on Friday rebuffed an attempt by the co-founder of Yellowstone Mountain Club LLC to disqualify a bankruptcy judge from the luxury ski club's reorganization and adversary proceedings, finding no evidence of bias.

U.S. District Judge Sam E. Haddon blocked the appeal of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ralph B. Kirscher's order denying Timothy Blixseth's motion to disqualify him, saying that no showing of of bias, prejudice or any lack of impartiality by Judge Kirscher has been demonstrated.
