Direct Purchasers Win Class In Ovcon Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (November 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a boost to direct purchasers of Ovcon 35, a federal judge has granted the group class certification in their antitrust battle accusing Warner Chilcott Ltd. and Barr Pharmaceuticals Inc. of entering into an illegal agreement to delay the market entry of Barr’s copycat version of the oral contraceptive.
