HP's $8.8B Accounting Scandal May Ensnare Deloitte, Others

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 7:29 PM EST) -- Hewlett-Packard Co. on Tuesday blamed Autonomy Corp. PLC for an $8.8 billion loss related to its acquisition of the British software firm, but attorneys say the finger-pointing has only just begun and could produce a tangled web of litigation that snares audit firm Deloitte & Touche LLP and others.
