Facebook Eyes End Of User Voting For Policy Changes

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 6:25 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. on Wednesday proposed eliminating a voting system used to gather user feedback when the company has plans to alter its user agreement, data use and privacy policies and other site policies.

The company said the voting system incentivizes the quantity of comments over their quality and that it wants to create a process that leads to more “meaningful” feedback and engagement.
