High Court Rulings Could Bring Big Change For Gay Marriage

Law360, San Diego (December 7, 2012, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday took up two key gay rights cases, and decisions striking down California’s gay marriage ban and a federal law restricting benefits to only heterosexual married couples could clear the way for same-sex couples across the country to marry and for couples in several states to collect benefits, according to experts.
