ACLU Win Over Eavesdropping Law Escapes High Court Review

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 2:41 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday left in place a lower court decision barring Illinois prosecutors from enforcing a state law that prohibits civilians from recording police officers as they perform official duties, declining to weigh a suit by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois.
