Contractor Says Team Member Improperly Submitted DHS Bids

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 7:02 PM EST) -- Government contractor DSD Laboratories Inc. sued Exalt Integrated Technologies LLC in Virginia federal court Monday, alleging Exalt had cost it millions of dollars by secretly working on two different teams to bid on a U.S. Department of Homeland Security information technology contract.

DSD said that Exalt had signed a teaming agreement with both it and another contractor to submit two bids for the DHS contract, a prohibited move that forced the government to disqualify DSD from the bidding process.
