Apple, LG Copied Video IP, Alcatel-Lucent Unit Tells Jury

Law360, San Diego (November 27, 2012, 11:12 PM EST) -- An Alcatel-Lucent SA unit argued before a California federal jury Tuesday that Apple Inc. and LG Electronics Inc. ripped off its video compression intellectual property even as nearly three dozen other companies shelled out more than $190 million for licenses to its patents.
