Lyondell Unit, Cleanup Site Owner Spar Over Bankruptcy Claim

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 6:38 PM EST) -- A Lyondell Chemical Co. subsidiary and Route 21 Associates of Belleville LLC clashed in New York federal court Tuesday over a contractual environmental cleanup dispute simmering in Lyondell's bankruptcy, with counsel for Route 21 arguing the debtor must perform under a previous settlement.
