ITC To Weigh Lifting Duties On French Uranium

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 2:26 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission will examine whether eliminating longstanding anti-dumping tariffs on low-enriched uranium from France will harm domestic producers of the nuclear fuel, the agency said on Monday.

“The commission hereby gives notice that it has instituted a review pursuant to [The Tariff Act] to determine whether revocation of the anti-dumping duty order on low enriched uranium from France would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury,” according to the ITC's notice.
