Ex-Massey Exec Admits To Masking Mine Safety Violations

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 1:26 PM EST) -- A former Massey Energy Co. executive will plead guilty to charges that he conspired to violate federal mine health and safety laws at several of the company's coal mines in West Virginia and conceal the violations from federal mine inspectors for a decade, prosecutors said Wednesday.
