NJ Cops Ask 3rd Circ. To Overturn Police Exam Settlement

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 8:01 PM EST) -- A group of Paterson, N.J., police officers asked the Third Circuit on Tuesday to overturn New Jersey's consent decree with the federal government over alleged race discrimination in civil service exams for police sergeants, saying the settlement denies them deserved promotions.
