Transit Workers Union Still Can't Collect Dues

Law360, New York (November 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A court ruled on Thursday that the Transit Workers' Union Local 100 could not begin deducting automatic dues from its workers' pay, extending a sanction imposed on the union earlier this year in response to a strike by 33,000 city transit workers that temporarily crippled New York City’s subway and bus system in 2005.
