Orchid Says Roche's Boniva Patents Invalid

Law360, New York (November 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of the companies hit with a patent suit by Hoffman La-Roche for trying to horn in on the market for the osteoporosis drug Boniva, has filed a counterclaim alleging that the two patents Roche asserted against it are invalid.
