New Amazon HQ Plans OK’d As Leased Space Sells For $278M

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 6:10 PM EST) -- Amazon.com Inc. on Thursday won conditional approval for it’s proposal to develop a massive three-block office campus in downtown Seattle, a day after another area tower leased by the online giant changed hands for $278 million.

Swayed by the public benefits and improvements the project is expected to bring to the city, Seattle Department of Planning and Development Director D.M.
