Derailed Conrail Tanker Spills Hazardous Vinyl Chloride

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 4:30 PM EST) -- A Consolidated Rail Corp. train derailment from a collapsed bridge near Philadelphia on Friday morning caused the release of an unknown amount of vinyl chloride into the air and water, resulting in medical treatment for 22 people and putting the local environment and wildlife at risk.
