SanDisk Sues Zurich Over $63M Power Loss Coverage

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 6:28 PM EST) -- SanDisk Corp. launched a suit against Zurich American Insurance Co. Friday in California to win coverage for a brief power outage in Japan that the memory card maker said caused more than $63 million in losses.

SanDisk asked a federal court in California to force Zurich to cover losses from a power drop in December 2010 that lasted only 158 milliseconds, but heavily disrupted production.
