Great Lakes States' Suit To Block Asian Carp Tossed

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 1:25 PM EST) -- An Illinois court Monday dismissed a bid by five Great Lakes states to force the U.S. government to block the migration of Asian carp from the Mississippi River Basin to Lake Michigan, saying the proposed barriers are statutorily forbidden.
