Judge Won't Block Calif. Sexual Orientation Therapy Ban

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 3:02 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday declined to issue an injunction stopping a state law from going into effect Jan. 1 that prohibits mental health professionals from attempting to change the sexual orientation of minor patients, saying the plaintiffs hadn’t shown they were likely to succeed in their challenge.
