Carl Levin, D-Mich., recently introduced an amendment to the fiscal year 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, S. 3254, which would require the U.S. Department of Defense to establish a process by which cleared defense contractors must report when the contractor’s network or information system is successfully penetrated.
