Qualcomm Offers Up To $120M For Stake In Struggling Sharp

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 2:11 PM EST) -- A unit of San Diego-based mobile technology giant Qualcomm Inc. will sink up to 9.9 billion yen ($120 million) into struggling electronics manufacturer Sharp Corp., the companies said Tuesday, providing a badly needed cash infusion that will make it a substantial minority shareholder.
