Mass. Hospital Network Accused Of Medcaid Billing Fraud

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 6:17 PM EST) -- A former employee's whistleblower suit unsealed Friday in Massachusetts federal court accuses hospital system Partners Healthcare System Inc. of fraudulently billing Medicaid for emergency room services — including billing that led to an $4.1 million overpayment — and firing the employee after she uncovered the alleged fraud.
