NLRB To Streamline Operations Through Office Restructuring

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 7:27 PM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board said Tuesday that it will reduce its number of regional offices by bringing locations in Connecticut, Kansas, North Carolina and Tennessee under the purview of other nearby branches.

The board said that it approved a formal restructuring in which its four regional offices in these states will be made subregions of nearby offices, reducing the number of its regional office locations from 32 to 28.

The overall number of field offices will remain unchanged at 51, the agency said.
