Department Of Education Contractor Escapes Bullying Suit

Law360, New York (December 5, 2012, 4:31 PM EST) -- A Maryland federal judge on Monday tossed a lawsuit accusing a U.S. Department of Education private contractor of bullying its subcontractors’ employees, ruling the alleged bullying hadn't occurred while the contract was in effect.

U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar ruled that subcontractor CBX Technologies Inc. had failed to show that its contractor GCC Technology LLC had bullied its workforce and interfered with the companies’ September 2009 teaming agreement before the agreement expired Nov. 9, 2009.
