Highwoods Properties Drops $99M On Pittsburgh's EQT Plaza

Law360, Philadelphia (December 5, 2012, 5:11 PM EST) -- North Carolina-based Highwoods Properties Inc. said Tuesday that it has reached a deal to acquire Pittsburgh’s 32-story EQT Plaza skyscraper for $99.2 million, including $8 million of planned improvements to the building.

The deal, which does not include a deed transfer, would see Highwoods acquire EQT Plaza’s holding company, Liberty Avenue Mezzanine LLC, which Highwoods officials said was jointly owned by a group of private investors.
