FTC Says Motorola Should Not Get Apple Ban In SEP Case

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 6:47 PM EST) -- Injunctions for infringement of standard-essential patents threaten competition and generally should not be issued, the Federal Trade Commission told the Federal Circuit on Tuesday, backing a lower court's denial of Motorola Inc.'s bid to block sales of Apple Inc.'s iPhones and iPads in the U.S.
