AUO Execs Guilty Of Price-Fixing Now 'Fugitives,' Judge Says

Law360, San Francisco (December 5, 2012, 8:04 PM EST) -- Two AU Optronics Corp. executives convicted of price-fixing on liquid crystal displays are now “fugitives,” a California federal judge said Wednesday, after paperwork seeking extended bail didn't go to all the right places and the pair failed to surrender to prison on time.

AUO President Hsuan Bin Chen and former Vice President Hui Hsiung are slated to serve three years in prison each after being convicted of price-fixing in March. They were scheduled to surrender Nov. 30, but their attorneys filed letters with the San Francisco...
