Rolls-Royce May Face Prosecution in UK Bribery Probe

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 1:58 PM EST) -- Rolls-Royce Group PLC, the world’s second-largest manufacturer of aircraft engines, said Thursday that the U.K.’s Serious Fraud Office may prosecute the company and some of its employees in connection with allegations of bribery and corruption in Indonesia and China.

The company handed information to the SFO related to requests into corruption involving intermediaries in the Asian markets, according to a company statement. The company said its internal investigations had identified “matters of concern” in Indonesia, China and other markets.
