NJ High Court To Weigh Hospital Document Privacy Parameters

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 3:41 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear a case seeking clarification of confidentiality provisions in the state's Patient Safety Act, after a lower court ruled hospitals' internal analysis generated in compliance with the statute was shielded from discovery but documents created for other purposes were unprotected.
