Trayvon Martin Shooter Sues NBC Over Edited 911 Call

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 10:43 PM EST) -- George Zimmerman, charged in shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, filed a defamation suit against NBC Universal Media LLC Thursday alleging the media company manipulated a recording of his call to the police to make it appear that his actions were racially motivated.

In a complaint filed in Seminole County court in Florida, Zimmerman accused NBC of the "oldest form of yellow journalism" by splicing different parts of the police dispatcher's recording to make him into a racist villain.
