Comint Loses Appeal Of $500M DOD Contract In Fed. Circ.

Law360, New York (December 7, 2012, 4:06 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday upheld a lower court's dismissal of a bid protest by Comint Systems Corp. over a $500 million information technology services contract with the U.S. Department of Defense, saying the company should have raised its objections before the contract was awarded.

A three-judge panel for the appeals court ruled that Comint didn’t preserve its right to challenge the terms of the solicitation for the contract since it failed to bring up any objection before the contract was awarded to its rivals....
