POGO Illegally Paid Economist For Gov't Work, US Says

Law360, Washington (December 7, 2012, 4:03 PM EST) -- Prosecutors told a Washington federal jury Friday that the nonprofit group Project on Government Oversight illegally paid a U.S. Department of the Interior senior economist for his government work that helped settle an oil royalties-related qui tam suit.
