Fed. Circ. Nixes Invalidity Appeal In Gift Card IP Suit

Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 7:00 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit shot down a challenge Monday to a decision that most of the claims of a debit card technology patent Card Activation Technologies Inc. asserted against numerous retailers were invalid, upholding a victory for Ceridian Stored Data Solutions Inc. in a declaratory judgment suit.
