Major Orlando Biz Center Project Wins County Approval

Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 8:46 PM EST) -- The Board of County Commissioners in Osceola County, Fla., approved plans Monday for a 1.5 million-square-foot international business center that is expected to bring more than 12,000 jobs for the area.

The project, known as Compass Orlando, was proposed by Beijing Construction Engineering Group for a swath of land known as Judge Farm and is expected to inject the local economy with about $1.4 billion, according to the commission.
