LSAT Prep Service Asks For New Trial In Trade Secrets Case

Law360, Los Angeles (December 11, 2012, 6:31 PM EST) -- LSAT preparation service Robin Singh Educational Services Inc. urged a California appeals court Monday to grant a new damages trial in its trade secrets case against Blueprint Test Preparation LLC, saying jurors would have awarded higher damages if the trial judge properly had punished its rival for "massive" destruction of evidence.

Robin Singh's attorney Cynthia Tobisman said Blueprint's discovery abuse was so egregious that Los Angeles Superior Court Judge William Highberger should have ordered terminating sanctions against the company rather than only issue and monetary sanctions....
