UK Authorities Arrest 3 In Libor-Rigging Probe

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 3:13 PM EST) -- British authorities on Tuesday said they have arrested three individuals as part of an investigation into the rigging of the London Interbank Offered Rate, the latest move in a series of global probes over the alleged manipulation of the benchmark interest rate.

The U.K.’s Serious Fraud Office said it arrested three men, ages 33, 41 and 47, with the assistance of London Police, and executed search warrants of their primary residences in Surrey and Essex counties.
