BP Escapes Petro Star's $20M Tariff Refund Suit

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 3:29 PM EST) -- An Alaska federal judge on Friday dismissed oil refiner Petro Star Inc.'s breach of contract suit against a BP PLC unit over BP's alleged refusal to refund $20 million in overcharges for intrastate tariff rates for use of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, finding no material factual dispute over the contract's language.
