ITC To Conduct Full Duty Reviews Of Italian, Turkish Pasta

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 7:00 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission said Monday it would conduct comprehensive reviews to determine whether removing 16-year-old countervailing and anti-dumping duty orders on certain pasta imports from Italy and Turkey would cause harm to U.S. pasta companies.

The ITC voted unanimously to complete full, five-year “sunset” reviews of standing duties on Italian and Turkish pasta that have been in place since 1996, the commission said in a statement Monday.
