BreitBurn Pays $190M For Permian Oil, Gas Properties

Law360, Dallas (December 12, 2012, 3:10 PM EST) -- BreitBurn Energy Partners LP on Tuesday announced it has struck a $190 million deal with CrownRock LP and Lynden USA Inc. to acquire oil and gas interests in the Permian Basin, bringing its total 2012 acquisitions to nearly $600 million.

The deal, expected to close by the end of the year, will bring BreitBurn 48 currently producing wells that in November produced the net equivalent of about 1,850 barrels of oil a day, with an estimated 18-year reserve, the California-based company said in a statement. The...
